About Ecstatic Dance
About
Ecstatic dance is a general term that refers to dancing the way that you want to in a sacred space without a lot of self-consciousness and being respectful of others around you.
It’s the good part. Where you really lose yourself and move beyond the boundaries of how you’ve confined yourself in the past. It’s therapeutic. It’s contagious. It’s tough to describe and easy to experience. It feels wonderful and you’ll probably love it.

Big Sky created a series of ecstatic dances in Durango, CO from 2012 – 13 as well as a radio show on KSJD that aired on Saturday nights.
